Harvest Partners
Introducing Harvest Partners, an opportunity for you to partner with us. To help us share unique stories — Nebraska stories — with our followers and subscribers.
For the past two seasons of Nebraska high school (and a little bit of college) sports we have brought you the Newsletter for free. As we enter year three we are excited to announce that this will still be the case. But, we have often thought about how we can grow our content and create more things for you — the reader — the Nebraska sports lover.
That’s why we are excited to announce Harvest Partners. An opportunity for businesses to be a part of the content we share and help grow their business through our platform to reach sports fans across Nebraska.
During our time doing this, we have racked up nearly 400 subscribers and almost 1,900 followers on social media. Our related social media posts have been viewed nearly 500,000 times. Readers have over 60,000 page views on our website and one thing we are most proud of is that our Newsletter has an open rate of nearly 70% (the industry average is 42%).
You may stumble upon this and wonder the best way to reach us. It’s probably on Twitter. DM our page, or our writer Tony Chapman and we’ll do our best to get back to you in a timely fashion. If you are receiving this via text or e-mail, well, you know the drill. We’d love to chat.

Our Mission: Great Content
From our first “Hello World” post to today, we hope to bring you content that is truly unique to Nebraska sports. Great photography. Great stories. Unique social media. You name it and we want to share it with the whole state. Your partnership will help us do just that and help us reach more coaches, players, families and their fans.
Your Mission: Be a Harvest Teammate
We will also be launching some premium (read: paid subscriber) content this fall. We will bring the first few to our current subscribers for free. Our commitment? A minimum of 13 in-depth feature stories during each school year. Your commitment? $25 each school year to have access to them. Less $2.00 a story. The writer may (or may not) spend that on Diet Coke in a single day. We’d love to have you.
Access is easy. Scroll to the bottom. Click “upgrade.” That’s all. Nothing more, nothing less. Who knows, we may even figure out a way to do some free gifts, too.
On To A New Season
In the coming weeks of August, we’ll be bringing you content around the beginning of a new school year. We can’t wait to share these uniquely Nebraska stories with our readers. We’d love for you to share the Newsletter with a friend if you enjoy what you see here. It’s time to make it even better.
