Another big Friday of football across the state. Time for another Full Stream Ahead for links to the top games we have found around the state for tonight. Each week, we’ll try to find the five best games of the week that you can watch on your phone, on your laptop, on the television, however you want to do it.

This is also, your public service announcement not to click on those silly imposter Facebook links. Our good friends at the NSAA have released a member school streaming directory as well this year, so you don’t fall victim. You can bookmark this, but we’ll include it each week as well.

Let’s get you some games for Week Eight of the Nebraska prep season. All ratings from the latest nebpreps.com Coaches Poll.

UPDATE!!! Class A, No. 1 Omaha Westside (7-0) at Class A, No. 2 Millard South (7-0): We found it. And it should be the game of the year in Class A as well as giving us a look into where these two teams stand heading into the playoffs. The Patriots are young but gaining experience especially the Jett Thomalla to Amarion Jackson combo. Westside is already experienced. The defending champions are playing at a high level, based on their 56-0 drubbing of No. 5 Kearney last week. Millard South YouTube

Class B, No. 4 Elkhorn North (7-0) at Class B, No. 1 Bennington (7-0): A district title on the line. Possibly the No. 1 overall seed in Class B on the line. Bennington’s 33-game winning streak on the line. A game that will be played — and won — in the trenches. The Badger’s Quinton Archer runs for 132 yards per game and the Wolves Jett Tingelhoff goes for 104. Neither team has given up more than 20 points all season. Bennington YouTube

Class C-2, No. 3 Ord (5-2) at Class C-1, No. 9 Broken Bow (6-1): Speaking of games in the line of scrimmage, this one should be that way as well. It’s a rare late season, cross class matchup that has no district ramifications, but big ones for playoff points. The three losses here are Class C-2, No. 1 and 2 (Norfolk Catholic and Battle Creek) for Ord and for the Indians, they have won six straight since being shutout week one by Class C-1, No. 1 Boone Central. Broken Bow Striv

Class D-1, No. 7 Shelby-Rising City (7-0) at Class D-1, No. 3 Cross County (7-0): A perfect playoff tune-up for these neighbors. And, while one will advance with a district title, the other will be playing next week as well no doubt. Paper says the Cougars, who have thrown it just 37 times in six games and have six rushers over 100 yards on the season while averaging 12.1 yards per carry. SRC is eerily similar, relying on Gabe Dutton-Mofford at 133 yards per game. The Huskies have throw it 47 times this season. A real mudder in Polk County. Cross County YouTube

Class A, Omaha North (6-1) at Grand Island (4-3): Both teams are just outside the rankings, but someone has to win this one and it might go a long way toward securing the last home playoff game as the 8-seed in Class A. These two have played some playoff classics with great respect between coaches Jeff Tomlin and Larry Martin. North brings one of the state’s top athletes — Tyson Terry — while quarterback Bode Albers has thrown for 950 yards in seven games. Grand Island Striv

Class C-2, RV Hastings St. Cecilia (6-1) at Class C-2, No. 8 Fillmore Central (7-0): Another district title on the line in this with the two teams that sit 4th and 5th in the Class C-2 playoff point standings. The Panthers three-headed running attack — Trevin Stassines, Luke Kimbrough and Trevor Roach all have over 75+ carries — will test a strong St. Cecilia defense led by Dawson Kissinger. On offense, the Bluehawk pass-catch duo of Chase Evans and Jenson Anderson has performed well. Fillmore Central Striv

Those are just a few we will be tracking for our Saturday newsletter. You can get the full Striv schedule here and all of the Hudl games here. If you have not downloaded the NE ScoreFeed yet, you can do it here. A must have for Friday night.
